User Manual

Overview

WorldRadio allows listening to live stream broadcast over the internet. No downloads or pre-set music libraries. Whatever is coming out of that radio station at this very moment, you will have it. It supports all of your typical digital formats used today: MP3, WAV, AIFC, AIFF, M4A, MP4, CAF, AAC and others. It is simple and robust: takes on average less than 3 seconds to switch between radio stations. One can add (or remove) radio stations they want to listen to. It comes pre-loaded with my favorite international radio stations, but they are there just to serve you as an example how to add new ones. Be it some ethnic , local music or news, as long as it is transmitted over internet, you can take it with you live. In order to add a station, you need to provide a name (it is just for your reference, you can call it any name), and its Web address (URL). Please, click here to see screenshots.

For the first couple seconds the player will be establishing a web connection. While it is doing so, the play button will be transformed into "spinning wheel" image. When signal is acquired, the "play button" will be transformed into the "pause" image. If you'd like to stop the player , touch the "pause" image on the screen.

Connection Errors and Troubleshooting

On occasion a connection cann't be established and you'll see "Connection Error" message. Don't be discourage, and try again! Most likely it'll go away next time you try it. If it persists, then it must be either wrong URL or the source has been discontinued. In this case you'll need to remove that station from your play list.
